Advancing Climate Resilience Solutions in the Asia Pacific Region

Miller Center partners with organizations that believe in the power of social entrepreneurship. For the past five years, Chevron has been a committed partner in this work, funding Miller Center programs to help support social entrepreneurs across Asia Pacific and India through hands-on engagement, mentoring, and long-term investment in their growth.

Together, we bring entrepreneurs, mentors, students, and ecosystem partners into shared learning spaces where ideas are tested, leadership is strengthened, and impact is accelerated.

Partnership Timeline

The partnership began in 2021, supporting social enterprises advancing climate-smart agriculture, safe water, and reliable energy across India, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. In 2022, Miller Center and Chevron expanded their partnership, adding leadership development, mentoring, post-program support, and investment-readiness. The Initiative was later extended through 2026, reflecting a shared commitment to long-term impact.

Impact at Scale

Across both programs, the partnership has supported 48 social enterprises. The majority are women-led, and many operate at the intersection of regenerative agriculture, lower-carbon energy, and clean water access.  Together, they have generated more than $130 million in investment growth, over $50 million in revenue growth, created 750+ jobs, and improved the lives of more than 19 million people. These results demonstrate the power of combining corporate philanthropy, deep engagement, and locally led solutions to scale lasting impact.

Trust-Based Philanthropy

Chevron’s flexible support enables Miller Center to go beyond a traditional accelerator by providing tailored leadership coaching, mentoring, peer learning, and investment readiness support. Built on trust and a shared commitment to impact, the partnership continues to strengthen entrepreneurs and the resilient communities they serve.
