Miller Center for Global Impact Partners with Applied Wisdom for Nonprofits to Enhance Leadership Development Programming

Santa Clara, CA – May 16, 2025 – Santa Clara University’s Miller Center for Global Impact is thrilled to announce its collaboration with Jim Morgan’s Applied Wisdom for Nonprofits team. This partnership will strengthen Miller Center’s leadership development programming to better equip social entrepreneurs, students, and mentors working on global challenges, such as poverty alleviation and climate resilience. Through targeted initiatives, the collaboration will foster adaptable skills that transform leadership into tangible social impact.

Over the next three years, this partnership will drive investment in improving Miller Center’s leadership resources, reaching up to 500 social entrepreneurs, 80 Santa Clara University students, 400 mentors, and 30 seasoned professionals.

The projected outcomes of this partnership include:

  • Enhanced Leadership Capabilities: Participants will develop improved leadership skills, gain a deeper awareness of organizational dynamics, and learn effective team-building strategies.
  • Personalized Learning Experiences: Customized mini-courses will offer personalized self-assessments and action plans to reflect each social entrepreneur’s growth as a leader.
  • Strengthened Social Impact: By nurturing a new generation of leaders equipped to drive social change, Miller Center will increase the overall effectiveness of social enterprises dedicated to serving vulnerable populations and promoting environmental sustainability.
