Ziweto Enterprises works with micro-franchised shops and last mile distributors to deliver quality and affordable veterinary medicines, vaccines and livestock production equipment to smallholder farmers in Malawi, with a mission to “raise the value of livestock for better human lives." Ziweto currently operate a network of fifteen (15) “Ziweto Agro-vet Shops” serving over 67,000 smallholder farmers monthly. Three are company owned and 12 are operated by micro-franchisees. Ziweto believes that with improved nutrition and health of livestock, farmers gain more meat, milk and eggs, resulting in increased food security and incomes. Ziweto's growth plans are to expand its network to 21 stores, with that expansion reaching 200,000 smallholder livestock farmers across Malawi with high quality and affordable livestock production inputs.
