Description

Xpreme Solar Solutions is the new name for Solar Aid Uganda which was founded by a UK based charity in 2014.We use the brand name Sunnymoney. To date the enterprise is women led and women owned dealing in the last mile distribution of solar lights. Our historical distribution model that creates awareness and demand for clean energy through teachers has been dormant for about two years due to COVID-19 lock downs and school closures. The company has been successful on applications with GIZ (RBF in three Refugee Settlements), SENDEA ( Implementation of a solar village to light 100 households in one village),Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) COVID Relief grant , and also loan financing from EARF managed by SIMA.
