Impact Behind the Lens Photo Competition

Blog

This exhibition showcases the winning images from Miller Center for Global Impact’s inaugural “Impact Behind the Lens” photo competition, which invited photographers from around the world to capture the power of social entrepreneurship in action. Entrants were challenged to tell visual stories of resilience, compassion, collaboration, and innovation — documenting the tangible, ripple effects of programs and individuals working to alleviate poverty, build climate resilience, expand access to education and healthcare, and uplift underserved communities worldwide.

From a global pool of submissions, these images were selected by a jury of experts in photography, community development, and the arts for their emotional impact, technical excellence, and ability to tell a powerful story of change. Together, they represent the very best of this year’s competition — a testament to the photographers’ skill and to the social entrepreneurs whose work they so powerfully capture.
