Liberian Energy Network

Since 2011 LEN has been working to provide Liberians with high quality, sustainable and affordable off-grid solar energy. LEN has built a network of partners across Liberia to provide consumer financing and last mile distribution. By identifying and partnering with what works in Liberia LEN can deploy off-grid solar faster and cheaper than any other pioneer in the Liberian energy space. Managed and staffed in Liberia entirely by Liberians, LEN has proven its business model and is currently scaling. Evidence of the resilience of the LEN business model is it survived the Ebola crisis and worked during the epidemic to supply health workers with access to off-grid light to assist them in their life saving work.
