Aloi is decentralizing climate finance. Our platform helps climate investors directly invest in informal sector entrepreneurs. The main bottleneck is high administration and monitoring costs for small ticket size loans. Our technology automatically tracks the full loan cycle through monitoring 1) loan usage, 2) loan repayments, and 3) payments received (income). This enables targeted investments in specific green sectors and value chains. Aloi’s technology works on 100% of phones via SMS.
