2025 Mentorship Opportunities
Starting September
We are recruiting mentors to help interview and select the next Miller Center Accelerator (MCA30) launching January 2026. Early selection interviews will be scheduled from September 22 – October 8 at either 8-10AM or 7PM and will take place over Zoom for 45 minutes plus 10 minutes of debrief. For each interview, a team of three mentors will ask specific topic-related questions regarding business, finance, and impact for ~10 minutes each. If you express interest in being an interviewer, you will be provided the specific dates and topics for this opportunity and can indicate your availability. Also, if you sign up to be a mentor in this cohort, you will have priority in your choice of social enterprise to mentor.
Dates:
- September 22 – October 8
Time Commitment:
- Each interview is one hour plus 2-3 hours prep time
Program Manager:
- Gwen Lyman
Starting November
We are recruiting mentors to serve as Feedback Panelists between November 17-21 for our new Impact Model Intensive cohort. We prefer mentors who are experienced in helping entrepreneurs identify, measure, grow and articulate their impact. The entrepreneurs participating in this program are pre-accelerator; those who need to better define their impact model before being accepted into a 6-month cohort. The 60-minute panels per enterprise will be in AM or PM time slots.
Dates:
- November 17 – 21
Time Commitment:
- 60-minute panel session per social enterprise, plus 1-3 hours prep time
Program Manager:
- Gwen Lyman

Please note:
Once the entrepreneurs for each program or panel session have been selected, the Mentor Network Team will reach out to mentors who have registered their interest through our form or through the Miller Center’s community website. Accelerator mentors will receive a summary of the participants in the cohort and are encouraged to indicate any preferences, interests, and limitations. Panelists mentors will receive an email confirming their participation and an invitation to attend a panelist training Webinar. Generally, you can expect to hear from our team about two weeks before the start of any given program.
