COVID-19 Update

Blog

Dear Friends,

As we continue into uncharted territory with the devastating impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Miller Center are deeply committed to our community of social change leaders around the world. Our hearts go out to all those affected — whether by illness, the isolation of preventative measures, or resulting personal and professional hardships.

We know this pandemic is particularly challenging for our social entrepreneurs whose enterprise models rely on personal engagement. Miller Center will continue to accompany them and offer support. We plan to convene a webinar and are exploring additional avenues to help our social entrepreneurs manage through these difficult times. Among these, we are enlisting the help of our executive mentors with experience in crisis management.

We will continue to monitor the situation and make decisions on upcoming travel and events with as much notice as possible.

Our own staff is taking the precaution of working from home to protect their families and loved ones. As always, we will be available to you electronically. We are conducting an internal experiment in staying connected through virtual team building, thanks to the ingenuity and leadership of one of our team members. We encourage you to reach out through technology to support one another and mitigate isolation.

Above all, we wish for the health and safety of you and your loved ones as we work through this global challenge together. Please let us know how we can help.

Best regards,

The team at Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship
